My name is Rich Coulter. I am a Microsoft Administrator for a Windows & Door Manufacturer in the Midwest. Currently, I am the Project Manager & Deployment Lead for the Windows 7 Deployment Project. My passion involves streamlining and accelerating Operating System Deployment. In addition, I also manage the Windows Client environment.
This year I had the opportunity to speak at a couple of Microsoft events. I have presented at Microsoft at the Desktop Advisory Council during the Windows Client Session. I attended a Windows 7 Launch hosted by Sogetti in Des Moines, IA and talked around Windows 7 Deployment. Additionally, I participated in TalkingAboutWindows with Microsoft in downtown Seattle, which was very cool.
My goal with this blog is to share real-world experience with the deployment of the next generation desktop operating system, Windows 7. This is a premier opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences as well as learn from others.
